DREDGE will be available on iOS, MacOS and Android devices on December 18th, 2024.
Which platforms and devices will the mobile version of DREDGE be available on?
You will be able to download DREDGE on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store for phones and tablets. DREDGE is optimized for the latest iOS 18 and Android 15 devices.
For MacOS, we recommend an Apple Silicon device.
Will the mobile version of DREDGE include the same content as the console and PC versions?
Yes! The mobile version of DREDGE will include the same content as the PC and console versions. You can purchase additional downloadable content (The Pale Reach, The Iron Rig, and the Blackstone Key) via in-app purchases.
Will the mobile version feature touch controls?
Yes, the mobile version has been optimized with touch controls and also includes support for external controllers.
How has the MacOS version of DREDGE been developed?
We have a native MacOS version which behaves like our PC version of the game but works as a single universal purchase and supports cross-saves between the iOS version. This means for our Apple players they are able to seamlessly interchange between their MacOS or iOS devices.
Is there a demo version available on mobile?
Yes, on the App Store and Mac App Store, you will be able to try DREDGE before buying it. This demo lets you explore the first area of the game, similar to the demos on Nintendo and PlayStation.

Yes, DREDGE has been optimized for mobile devices, with customizable visual settings to help you balance performance and battery life. You can turn off features like reflections or use the new automatic adaptive performance feature to maintain smooth gameplay.
How much will the mobile version of DREDGE cost?
The mobile pricing will be consistent with DREDGE on other platforms (Steam, GOG, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One and Series X|S). Apple users will be able to try the first area for free, after which the base game and any expansions can be purchased separately.
Can I use my controller with the mobile version?
Yes! The mobile version of DREDGE supports external controllers, so you can enjoy the game with a similar setup to consoles.
Is cross-save supported between mobile and other platforms?
No, but you can sign into your Game Centre / Google Play account to cross-save between your iOS/MacOS or Android devices respectively.
How does DREDGE run on mobile compared to other platforms?
DREDGE has been optimized for mobile devices to offer smooth performance, with customizable settings allowing players to prioritize battery life or graphical fidelity. Although mobile hardware differs from PCs and consoles, the core gameplay and experience remain the same.
Will there be any mobile-exclusive content?
There are no plans for mobile-exclusive content. However, players who preorder or preregister will receive platform-specific starting rod as a bonus.
Does DREDGE on mobile have the same achievements/trophies as other platforms?
Yes, achievements will be available via Apple’s Game Center or Google’s Play Games profile.
How large is the download size of DREDGE on mobile?
Comparable to our PC and Console versions, DREDGE mobile is about 900mb. Make sure you download it over WiFi!
I already own DREDGE on another platform, can I get it for free on my iOS/Android device?
It will be another purchase with this new platform, however iOS or MacOS players have access to both versions in a single universal purchase.
